Our Painted Lady caterpillar kits are fun and educational for children and adults alike! Each kit includes everything you need to watch Painted Lady larvae grow from caterpillars to chrysalis to butterfly! No additional feeding or watering is needed with this kit. Just watch them grow!
Each kit includes:
- 3 live Painted Lady caterpillars
- Rearing cup with prepared food
- Ventilated lid with paper medium
- Small 7" pop-up enclosure for chrysalises & butterflies
- Coloring activity sheets
- Detailed instructions
Caterpillars in this kit will take approximately 3 weeks to reach adult butterfly. Adult butterflies can be kept in the included enclosure until ready to release. Daytime weather must be at least 55F and sunny on release day.
